In scouting, we believe in providing opportunities for our cub scouts to work in teams and entrusting them with responsibilities. They are given chances to develop their leadership skills during the weekly Pack Meetings. In scouting, as a testimony of their knowledge of basic Scouting skills and marked achievements in areas such as camp craft, citizenship and improving the environment, the individuals are awarded a series of badges.
The highest award for the cub scouts is the Akela Award, which requires the Cub Scout to exhibit general knowledge of scouting and to successfully clear an interview with the District Commissioner.
During the school holidays, camps are organised to equip our cub scouts with outdoor survival skills such as camp craft, basic first aid and pioneering. Camps are also great platforms where friendships are deepened and values are formed.
