Marist Robotics and Programming Club


The Marist Robotics ad Programming Club aims to:
  • Equip members with relevant robotics and programming skills through courses conducted by experienced trainers;
  • Fuel members’ passion in robotics and programming by setting challenging tasks for them to complete during training;
  • Provide opportunities for members to develop their innovative and critical thinking skills through participating in robotics and programming competitions; and
  • Develop leadership skills by giving opportunities to members to plan activities and lead their fellow CCA mates.

To achieve the CCA’s goals, the following programmes are offered:
  • Intermediate Robotics Training Course for Secondary One members
  • Advanced Robotics Course for Secondary Two members
  • Sam Lab Course for Secondary Three and Four members
  • NOI Training for Secondary Two and Three members
  • ICAS (Digital Technologies)

Marists are given the opportunities to participate in the following competitions:
  • First Lego League
  • National Robotics Competition
  • Asia Pacific Youth Robotics Competition
  • World Robotics Games
  • RoboCup Singapore Open
  • Underwater Olympiad 
  • Singapore National CoSpace & RoboMaker Challenges cum EduTech Asia CoSpace Robot Challenge 
  • StrlTwise Hackathon 

Marists have performed well in the following competition:
  • StrITwise Final Challenge 2017
    • 1st Team Placing
  • National Robotics Competition 2017
    • 2nd and 3rd Team Placing for Best Programming and Best Engineering Design
  • Bull's Eye Competition 2017
    • Best Sportsmanship Award
