National Cadet Corps (Sea)

The National Cadet Corps (Sea) aims to:
  • Develop resourceful, responsible, resilient, loyal leaders and team players through fun and challenging military-related activities; and
  • Nurture students into ‘Cadet Strong’, one with a resilient mind, fit body and committed heart.

To achieve the CCA’s goals, the following programmes are offered:
  • Comprehensive 30-week programme to train cadets to be proficient in bends and hitches; drills; fitness and kayaking.

Marists have performed well in the following competitions:
  • NCC Best Unit Competition 2016
    • 15th consecutive Gold Award since 2002
  • National Canoe Slalom Championships 2017:  
    • 1st in Uniform Group Kayak Single Boys Sec 2 
    • 1st in Uniform Group Kayak Single Boys Sec 3 
    • 3rd in Uniform Group Kayak Single Boys Sec 3 
    • 1st in Uniform Group Kayak Team Boys Sec 2 
    • 3rd in Kayak Single Men Open(Junior)
    • 2nd in Kayak Team Men Open 
    • 3rd in Kayak Team Men Open 
  • NCC Kayaking Competition:
