Aesthetics (Music)

The Aesthetics (Music) Department aims to:
  • Build a foundation for Marists to appreciate Music;
  • Develop a holistic Music curriculum that nurtures Marist to appreciate Music in the way they talk about, respond to and have the knowledge about Music; and
  • Develop Marists to communicate ideas and express themselves confidently through Music.

To achieve the Department’s goals, the following programmes are offered:
  • 6-year General Music Programme – a close alignment of pedagogical practices, assessment practices and the General Music Programme (GMP) 2015 Syllabus at each level
  • P1 Chinese Music Appreciation Module
  • P2 Angklung Module
  • P2 PAL Drama Programme
  • P6 TMW Music Appreciation Workshop
  • P1 – P2 TMW Art Appreciation Assembly Programme

Marists are given the opportunities to participate in the following events:
