2025 Secondary 1 Registration
Dear Parent/Guardian,
We are delighted to welcome your son/ward to Maris Stella High School!
We would like to congratulate him on his PSLE results and for choosing to continue his education with us.
Please note that there is no need for your son/ward to report to school for registration on 18 December 2024.
There will be no webinar as we will share important information regarding your son’s/ward's Secondary 1 Posting via the Parents Gateway (PG) after 5 pm. on the posting day. Please download the PG mobile application here if you do not have it yet.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school office. We look forward to partnering with you in your son’s/ward's secondary education journey.
Reporting Details (First Day of School)

Sec 1s are strongly encouraged to be in school by 7:15 am. Student Leaders will be in the school compound to assist Sec 1s and guide them to their respective classrooms.

Morning assembly starts at 7:30 am in the Shaw Hall.

Attire: Full school uniform and tie, with predominantly white shoes. Students are allowed to wear their primary school uniform if they have not purchased our school uniform in time.

There is no vegetarian stall in our canteen. Vegetarians may make special arrangements with our Chinese and Muslim stalls for vegetable dishes during recess or lunch.

Parent/guardian will receive a Parents Gateway (PG) notification by 30 December 2024 on the son’s/ward’s class allocation. Please click the "CONTACTS" tab at the bottom and view the class under your son's/ward’s name.

Parents/guardians of successful applicants will be informed by the school via Parents Gateway (PG) by 20 December 2024.

Students must confirm the acceptance of the offer and complete the registration at MOE Language Centre website from 19 Dec 2024, 9:00 am to 02 Jan 2025, 11:59 pm.

Unsuccessful Application

If you have applied and do not receive any PG notification by 20 Dec, 5:00 pm, it means that your application is unsuccessful.

No further action is required unless you wish to appeal.

Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS)

If you have applied for FAS through the primary school of your son and received approval letter, please scan and email the copy to us.

If you have applied but yet to receive approval or would like to apply now, please drop us an email and we will send you the form to complete.
Secondary level School Smart Card (SSC)

All students entering Secondary One in January 2025 will be issued a new Secondary level School Smart Card (SSC).

In the meantime, students can continue to use their Primary level SSCs for concessionary travel until end April 2025.

Students can still use the monthly Concession Pass on their Primary level SSCs, but they would need to purchase the monthly Concession Pass for Secondary School students.
Personal Learning Device (PLD)

From 2021, all secondary school students are required to get a personal learning device (PLD) for their learning.

We will provide more detailed information e.g. model, pricing and subsidy during the level briefing on Thursday, 09 Jan 2025.
