SEC 1 BRIEFING VIA ZOOM WEBINAR ON 23 DEC 2021


To welcome Sec 1 Marists of 2022 and their parents to the school, we will be holding a webinar on 23 Dec. During this webinar, we will share important information about the school, the programmes that Marists will go through as well as the Sec 1 Orientation Programme and other admin matters, this is part 1 of a series of webinars that we will hold for parents of Sec 1 Marists.

2022 Sec 1 Appeal

For students who would like to appeal to join Maris Stella High School as a Secondary 1 student in 2022, please take note of the following:

  • Appeal Application Process is from 22 December 2021 onwards.

  • Only P6 students who meet the school AL for this year may apply via e-form only as we are not allowed to consider those who do not meet the AL cut-off point. The AL for the 2022 Secondary 1 cohort is 12. - Online appeal applications are to be made through the following e-form link: https://go.gov.sg/mshsappeal. Applications are not assessed based on first-come-first-served basis. - Applications will be considered void if the information submitted is not supported correctly by the official documents. - Scanned copies of the following documents are required for the appeal application:

     - PSLE Results Slip (with AL Score)

     - School Choice Verification Slip

  • Shortlisted applicants will be notified for a follow-up interview as well as documents to bring to school.

  • Only successful applicants will be informed after 30 December 2021.

Sale of Textbooks

o   Due to current safe management measures (SMM), purchase of books and stationery can only be made via the bookshop online website (www.pacificbookstores.com). Self-Collection in school or Home Delivery for online orders only. Website Closing Date: 27/12/2021.

Sale of Uniform

Our school's uniform supplier is:

Uniform will be available for purchase via the following modes:

o   School Canteen (27, 28, 29, 30 Dec 2021)

(Due to SMM, only one parent or guardian is allowed to accompany their child during the purchase of uniform in school.)

o   Online Shop @ www.shanghai-uniforms.com. Applicable for online purchase online after 31 Dec. Home delivery may take up to 2 weeks to be delivered.

o   Any enquiries, please call 67478037, Mon-Fri, 10.00am-1.00pm, 2.00pm-6.00pm

 

Additional Information

o   Please take note that trying of uniforms will not be available due to SMM. The vendor will be in school during the timeslots in the table below to take measurements for students. 

o   Only one parent is allowed to accompany the child to purchase the uniforms.

o   If parents are unable to purchase the uniforms during the allotted timeslots, students are allowed to wear their primary school uniforms in Week 1 and purchase their MSHS uniforms in school when school starts.

o   Parents are recommended to buy:

      •   2 sets of uniform, 2 sets of PE attire (Singlet and PE shorts), 1 piece of Mandarin Collar Polo T-Shirt, 1 piece of Apron, 3 pairs of socks.
      •    However, as students are allowed to put on the House T-Shirt or Mandarin Collar Polo T-Shirt, you may wish to buy 1 set of uniform (shirt), 2 - 3 sets of uniform (shorts), 2 sets of PE attire (Singlet and PE shorts), and 2 pieces of Mandarin Collar Polo T-Shirt. House T-Shirt could be bought later when your son is informed of his House allocation.
