The Aesthetics (Music) Department aims to:
- Equip students with the musical capacities to express themselves through performing music.

Harness and develop students’ innate creativity through music improvisation and composition.
- Understand the fundamental building blocks and concepts of music.
- Exposure to both local and global cultures through the music of the different musical traditions.
- Reflect on musical works through attentive and thoughtful listening.
To achieve the Department’s goals, the following programmes are offered:

6-year General Music Programme – a close alignment of pedagogical practices, assessment practices and the General Music Programme (GMP) at each level
- P1 Boomwhackers Module
- P2 Resonator Bells Module
- P3 Recorder Module
- P4 Keyboard Module
- P5 Ukulele Module
- P6 GarageBand Module
Marists are given the opportunities to participate in the following events:
- SYF Arts Presentation
- Arts Week
- Assembly Performances
