English Literary Society

The English Literary Society aims to:

• Develop members’ critical thinking and language skills through Debate and Scrabble; 

• Cultivate members’ talent and achieve excellence in their passion; and

• Provide platforms that nurture collaborative and leadership skills for members.

Marists are given the opportunities to participate in the following competitions:

• Singapore Secondary Schools Debating Championships

• National Schools Debate Challenge

• Raffles Debate Academy U-14 Debating Championships
